St. Anne’s Festival in Bukit Mertajam, Penang

Here is another religious celebration. Held at the St. Anne’s church in Bukit Mertajam, situated on the mainland of state, the Church of St. Anne plays host to St. Anne’s Feast.
St. Anne’s church plays a significant part in shaping Penang past.
The 10-day prayer ritual at the church is an annual event, with a Night of Candle Light Procession.
If you are in the mainland, head over to St. Anne’s church. There are many historical artifacts and relics found at the Church compound now on display.
Look out for the beautiful stained glass at the alter. Also,15 life sized statues that depicts the crucifixion of Lord Jesus Christ is on display.
