Chew Jetty, one of the many waterfront settlements in the north east of the Island located next to the Ferry link between the island and Butterworth on the mainland has had a makeover.
Ernest Zacharevic, a Lithuanian born street artists was commissioned to work on yet another master mural as part of the George Town Festival 2012.
The mural depicting a boy and girl on a boat was painted on the side of a wooden stilt house in the area.
If you are on a trail to discover the heritage city of George Town, don’t miss the opportunity of visiting Chew Jetty to witness the mural for yourself.
Other murals from the same artist can be found at Cannon Street (Lebuh Cannon) near Khoo Kongsi and Masjid Jamek and on Ah Quee Street (Lebuh Quee).
